Project
Title Myogenic differentiation of human amniotic fluid mesenchyme for cell therapy of neurectomy-injured urethral sphincter.
Objective The aim of the study was to determine whether periurethral injection of hAFMCs could support the structural and functional reconstruction of neurectomy-injured mouse urethral sphincter.
Design hAFMCs were harvested from human amnion fluid, and cells were isolated with stem cell marker and injected into the pudendal-neurectomy female mouse model.

Title urine derived stem cells as neo adult stem cell source
Objective Contemporary approaches to tissue engineering and cell therapy for tissue reconstruction require invasive tissue biopsies to obtain autologous cells. We determined whether the stem cells present in urine and investigated their potential uses for urological reconstructive procedures.
Design Urine samples were collected. Urine derived stem cells were isolated, expanded and tested for progenitor and multi-differentiation. Using cell-scaffold composite, target organ could be established.
